Sept 22nd Workshop Cancelled

Sorry everyone. The meeting date and workshop for Sept. 22, 2012 has been cancelled. The workshop will be rescheduled for early Nov. with a new date to be announced soon. It will again be on a Saturday

September's meeting will then be on the regular meeting time of Wednesday, Sept. 26th at 7pm, at the Library.

Upcoming 2018-2019 meeting dates: Wednesday, November 28 (after Thanksgiving) - Tapestry Weaving on Little Looms.  Attendees at the October 30 meeting each selected a 'pigtail' of Greenwood Fiberworks fiber to spin before the November 28th meeting, to be used in weaving on the cardboard looms that will be provided (or, bring your own little loom).  If you were unable to pick up the fiber at the October meeting, bring a small amount of your own handspun or commercial yarn. PROGRAM As mentioned in last month's blog, Treadles has no Program Chair this year. Hence, no one has come up with a program for this month. We will still meet and have Show & Tell, bring your wheel to sample a surprise fiber and watch a video yet to be determined! You could also bring your swap fibers and get in a good hour of spinning on your shawl project. If something better pops up, you'll see it at the meeting!
