HOLIDAY PARTY SATURDAY DECEMBER 15, 2018 - 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Upcoming 2018-2019 meeting dates: Saturday, December 15 - 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Potluck Holiday Party at Amy's house in Pleasant Hill, with ornament exchange.  Bring a dish to share.  Bring a wrapped sheep ornament (handmade or purchased) if you wish to participate in the ornament exchange.  Guild members only, please. Thursday, January 24 - Carolyn Greenwood ( Greenwood Fiberworks ) presentation Wednesday, February 27 - Sheepshearer and author  Stephany Wilkes , reading from her new book, " Raw Material:  Working Wool in the West ".   This is also the end date for the combo fiber exchange projects from 2018 (some have already been shared). Upcoming 2018-2019 meeting dates: Wednesday, November 28 (after Thanksgiving) - Tapestry Weaving on Little Looms.  Attendees at the October 30 meeting each selected a 'pigtail' of Greenwood Fiberworks fiber to spin before the November 28th meeting, to be used in weaving on the cardboard looms that will be provided (or, bring your own little loom).  If you were unable to pick up the fiber at the October meeting, bring a small amount of your own handspun or commercial yarn. December 15 - 11 - 2 at Amy's house, with ornament exchange.  Guild members only, please. Upcoming 2018-2019 meeting dates: Tuesday, October 30 (day early, due to Halloween) -  remote lecture presentation, "Sand In My Shoes", weaving with  Rebecca Mezoff .  Lisa Waterman will give a short presentation about Warner Mountain Weavers and their yearly Wool Gathering. Wednesday, November 28 (after Thanksgiving) - Tapestry Weaving on Little Looms.  Attendees at the October 30 meeting each selected a 'pigtail' of Greenwood Fiberworks fiber to spin before the November 28th meeting, to be used in weaving on the cardboard looms that will be provided.  Or, bring your own little loom to the meeting.
